🪙 Credits
Credits represent platform usage. The cost incurred for running an agent has three main sources: 1/ infrastructure and cloud operations, 2/ LLM and other AI model operations 3/ data operations.
Your credit quota is reset at the beginning of each month.
AÂ long conversation with a 3Â to 5Â function calls (either RAG or APIÂ calls) typically consumes 50Â credits.

Knowledge is data available for your Agents to search, which means it has been indexed and / or vectorized on the Squadra platform. Most agents won't require extra knowledge, expect for agents which main purpose is to extract information from very large sets of informations, such as banks of patents or ledgers of legal precedents.

The reference prices provided here are for informational purposes only—an estimate to help you gauge potential costs when running similar agents. These figures come from our experience optimizing hundreds of agents on our platform. However, every use case is unique, and agent configuration offers limitless possibilities—just as two humans can approach the same job in vastly different ways. The cost is merely an indication.
♺ Building an agent is an iterative process. You start by focusing on performance, without worrying about cost. Once your agent functions as intended, there are many ways to optimize expenses—using smaller models, refining segmentation to reduce reliance on models in favor of tools like RAG, or implementing post-processing scripts to minimize unnecessary tokens. Cost reductions can be spectacular.
